These are some serious times...
I read about this album a couple of months ago in The Fader magazine and got my hot little hands on it through OiNK. It is a compilation of XL Recording's greatest raggae hits over the past couple of years, including artists like Turbulence, I Wayne, and Sizzla. It is really good. As it turns out, most of the songs on it were also on a very popular mixtape that circulated around the area about two years ago (it had permanent residence in the green SAAB). In the first disc the DJ from Federation Sound, Max Glazer, remixed the album in an hour-long track that gives "the auditory sensation of experiencing a traditional Jamaican sound system in action." The second disc is all of the tracks that Glazer uses individually and in there entirity, for your own listening pleasure.
