From the Bay to the A...

So the other day I went to this neighborhood by my school called Little Five Points. It's basically like a more friendly Haight - it has its head shops, its own version of True, wack vintage stores, Hare Krishnas dancing around handing out leaflets, but all with out the crazy homeless dude beating off in front of Amoeba. I also met two guys walking around passing out CDs. One was some guy named Agent Smith, who really isn't that good but I bought his album anyways because he was a tight guy. His voice is cool but his beats and production are pretty bad, so I'm not going to bother. I also picked up a mix-tape by DJ B-Mello from Seattle. His mix-tape was OK, and only one song really stood out.

Hustle (Seatown Remix) - DJ B-Mello
(If you're skeptical, it samples the NFL on Fox promo song. I love that song.)

This song is originally by this guy named Fidget, who's B-Mellos friend, I think.

I'm going to a Toots and the Maytals concert in Little Five Points later in the month. If you're not learned, get on it.

Peace.
