NFL Draft 07
Being that I probably know the least about the draft I wanted to start a thread where those with more knowledge could give theiir first eleven picks through the 9ers. maybe we could put some money on it and the person who gets the most right wins its all.

this video is retarded
ya the video is retarted but whatever
Archie, the video you posted proves the point you make at the beginning of the post. It's really fucking dated.
Though I pay attention to sports alot, College Football is not something I tend to watch, so I'm not really very good at this.
My tentative top 10 would be something like:
1. Raiders-Jamarcus Russell. Duh.
2. Lions-Joe Thomas. You know Millen will be itching to take CJ here, but Thomas' stock is like my schlong watching any Naughty America series. Zing!
3. Browns-Adrian Peterson. This is what alot of people are saying. I wouldn't be surprised if they buck the trend and take Quinn here however. Then, they can suck one more year, and get one of the many talented RB's eligible in 2008.
4. Bucs-Calvin Johnson. Duh.
5. Cardinals-Gaines Adams. Of course, everyone says they would love to have Thomas, but he won't fall. Ron Rivera will love this guy.
6. Redskins-Alan Branch. Redskins collapsed on D last year after a great '05 campaign (yay Andre Carter!). Branch is a playmaker who will fit well.
7. Vikings-Jamaal Anderson. Don't know too much about him, but I do know Kenechi Udeze had 0 sacks last year. I hope they don't take Quinn-they simply can't give up on Tavaris Jackson. Big no no.
8. Texans-Brady Quinn. Plain and simple, David Carr sucks. Last year they shocked everyone because of their goal "to stop Peyton and the Colts", so I wouldn't be shocked if they took Landy/Nelson or even Hall here.
9. Dolphins-Ted Ginn Jr. Obviously not the best talent, but the Dolpins are severely lacking on the offensive side of the ball. Some say Meachem's combine was the best of the non-Calvin Johnson-named WR, but Ginn has the kick return ability everyone will be looking for after the Devin Hester phenomenom, and the Phins just lost their guy Welker to the Pats anyways. This is a hard pick to predict.
10. Falcons-LaRon Landry. Everyone's consensus here, basically, unless he goes earlier. If I end up in Atlanta next year, I would love to watch this guy play for four years.
11. Niners-Amobi Okoye. Some people have us taking Carriker, but I think he's too much of a stretch (and too white) to take here. Okoye's upside could potentially be considered the best in the whole class (OK maybe in terms of defensive players), simply because he's only 19.
Anyways, most us this is simply based on shit I've read online. These top picks are pretty much a consensus, atleast on the names that will be taken, if not the exact positions. I think the 9ers will be happy with whatever is available at 11 as there is a good amount of talent, though if Adams/Anderson/Branch fall to us, that would be sick.
