Don't Say Nuthin...

Since we missed both the Tech N9ne (Monday) and Game (today) concerts this week, this is a pre-emptive inquiry to see if anyone would be down to go see the Roots next week at Fillmore on Wednesday or Thursday. If that doesn't float anyone's boat, Andre Nickatina and Keak da Sneak are having a concert together on February 24th (that's a Saturday) up in Santa Rosa. I would really want to go to that so if other people have interest let me know. I mean King Nicky and Keak, that could be pretty fucking crazy.

Detox

I think I found it (unless you already have it).

Detox

Actually, just "Dretox". I was fooled by the title of the torrent, but it is still pretty good. Some The Game tracks (who by the way, is playing tonight at the Fillmore)
(It is a torrent)

Collaboration...

watch timbaland dance and eat a banana.

"best in the business"

and then...

I have been rather uninspired recently...I hope this will suffice.

Rubbin' lotion all on her Gluteus Maximus...

I don't know if I'm going to try and make this a weekly thing, but here's another update of some good rap songs I've been listening to.
First comes off E-40's GREAT album Breakin News, which he came out with in '03. So, it's not all hyphy or commercialized, but he was plenty popular to get some big names to collab with.

One Night Stand- E-40
This song is fucking great. E-Fonzarelli's (as Bonecrusher calls him on another track off this album) rhymes are simply exemplary. The title of this post is a line from said song. What a g.
Here's a sample from the first verse:

I got a partner on parole that just got out of Chino
Not a rookie but a vet, like Dan Marino
My favorite actor on the set, Al Pacino
This is a heater man, hot! Like jalapenos...

Its like that the whole song. There are some other great songs off this album; I might post them at a later date.

Crunk Muzik-The Diplomats
This is another track off Diplomatic Immunity 2, the same album that "Get From Round Me" comes from. It's a better song. The beat is kinda, march-y...? I guess that's how I would describe it. Good pump up.

Chonkyfire- OutKast

Skew it on the Bar-B - OutKast

Both these songs come off Aquemini, which has alot of great songs. I only posted these just because you might not have them, as opposed to other on the same album. OutKast is really fucking incredible; I usually go through long periods not listening to them, but I will still acknowledge them as one of the greatest groups of all-time. However, each time I start hearing their shit again, it amazes me how talented they are. Big ups, you two.

Tragic Story of Genarlow Wilson

Self-Help 101...

So I have been spending much of the last few days thinking on what I was going to do with my next blog post. At this point in my life, I have very little else to do. Since I can't upload music, due to the combination of not having any music on my mom's computer and the fact that i cannot access any website that requires me to sign in on my own computer and the fact that I can't post videos, I realized I needed to bring something completly new to the blog.

What I came up with was the Self-Help section. This probably won't ever take off, and this will probably be my only post on the subject, but at this point it strikes me as very logical. This section will be dedicated to assistance of any kind. Simply post your problem or issue or question or theory, and hopefully, one or some or all of the people who look at this blog will respond.

To get this started I will post the first self-help corner question. Since we've all been playing so much basketball and other sports lately, I have gotten some really bad blisters. Really bad blisters. So my question is, what do people normally do when they get blisters. I am a big fan of wearing double socks and Johnson and Johnson blister band-aids. After that, I am kind of a nubtard (that's right, I just made that up). I know some people use powders and shit, but what are the treatements that other people use?

May the force be with you...

Varsity Soccer Highlights

Its on youtube if anyone asks!

Let's try this again...

John pointed out that I uploaded the wrong song. Sweet.

BIG- Respect

That's the real one. If you don't like sick beats and good lyrics, it's still worth it for the "happy" ending.

And here's one that I know Alex will want:

Mack 10- Da Bizness

I urge you to find a darker (in a few ways) song.

151, Pineapple Juice, Malibu....

So, apparently we had a SNAFU on Saturday. If you don't remember, it was me against the world as to how Tech N9ne's lyrics went concerning the insanely potent drank, Caribou Lou (according to Wikipedia, it originated in KC, MO, and was popularized by the Killa Clown himself). You guys were apparently quoting "Imma Tell", while I was referring to the actual song, "Caribou Lou". No matter what, it's an injustice that you guys don't own this song. So here.

Tech N9ne- Caribou Lou

I was inspired by Alex's post earlier, so here are the rap songs I'm listening to right now:

The Diplomats- Get From Round Me
This song comes hard (no homo, you pervert).

The Notorious BIG- Respect
Great fucking beat. Like, really, really great.

Raekwon- Verbal Intercourse (one of Alex's suggestions)
The Chef cummin' hard. ;).

Snoop Dogg- Murder Was The Case
I wish D-o-double-gizzle was my friend.

Hope you guys don't have all these songs. Enjoy. Bitches.

Today's Top 10

So I have been really bored recently when I've been trying to do homework and I have found a new diversion in going on wikipedia and just searching random shit. I thouroughly reccomend this if you are looking for new ways to procrastinate. I am also a fan of rap music, so while wandering wikipedia, I began to look at the pages of some of my favorite rappers. Many are coming out with new albums in 2007, so here is my top 10 (and some honorable mentions and reccomended downloads because i can't use rapidshare) of the rap I am looking forward to in the new year.
Honorable mention:
T.I.- TI vs. TIP: I am not neccesarily looking forward to this album, but TI usually has one single off each album that I like alot. So I expect one good song from this CD.
Rick Ross- Rise to Power: I really liked Rick Ross's (is that right?) debut from this past year, but he hasn't reached the status to make it into my top 10. One more good album and we'll be i good shape.
Young Buck- Buck the World: The only artist I like from G-Unit.
As you can tell, I pretty much like relatively mainstream rap, but in the top 10 there should be a few newbies for all you.

10. Three Six Mafia- Da Last 2 Walk: I have liked Three 6 for awhile now and their last album and oscar should make them a little more mainstream now. The reason why they make the list is for the removal of worthless member Crunchy Black (who looks more like a crackhead than anyone in the world), and replacing him with Project Pat. I don't know where Project Pat comes from, and I only have one song of his but it's real tight so this should be a sick album.
Reccomended Downloads: Project Pat- Don't Save Her, Three Six Mafia- Sippin of Da Syrup
9. Saigon- The Greatest Story Never Told: I, like most people, first heard about Saigon through the TV show Entourage, and from what I can tell, his shit is pretty good. I have only heard a few songs of his, but he has got a good buzz going on around him. This album was supposed to come out last year but has been postponed a few times, so when it comes out it it better be good.
Reccomended Downloads: Saigon- Come Again, Let a N**** Know
8. Mike Jones- The American Dream: I am kind of embarressed by this pick but I really like Mike Jones and I was listening to Still Tippin before it blew up so that's why this goes so high. He is not a great rapper but he will come out with a few catchy songs, and I am a fan of the first single: Mr. Jones. This album won't be all that special, but it should have enough good songs and high profile cameos to make it worth a listen.
Reccomended Downloads: Mike Jones- Still Tippin, Mr. Jones
7. Andre Nickatina- Cokewhite: If this was before the Andre Nickatina and Equipto days, this would be in the top 3 most likely, but with three mediocre Nicky T and Equipto CD's in the past 3 years, King Nicky may be past his prime. Hopefully he gets back to his roots and comes out with a CD reminiscent of Dre Dog or the Early Cocaine Raps. No matter what I will probably buy this CD, and I want to see Andre again in concert. I also think we should get him for the Devils Dance or whatever it's called.
Reccomended Downloads: Andre Nickatina- Andre N' Andre, Live at the Daquiri Factory.
Dre Dog- Smoke Dope and Rap.
6. Pharoahe Monch- Desire: Pharoahe Monch is a sick relatively underground rapper from the NYC. If you've heard of him, it's probably from the song Simon Says, which he absolutely kills. He is one of the best lyricists around, and this CD has been a long time coming. It is one of his first solo CD's, and a bunch of people were trying to sign him when he went single. He has a distinct flow which he carries on for long verses and usually has some pretty good beats. This CD seems slightly different and maybe more upbeat, especially after hearing the first single. He's got some cameos by Nas, Lauryn Hill, and Arethra Franklin, so he is definately coming up.
Reccomended Downloads: Pharoahe Monch- Fuck You, Push, My Life
5. Beanie Sigel- Return of the Bad Guy: I am a huge Beanie Sigel fan, despite him not really coming out with anything all that great recently. I first heard him way back in the day, and started listening to his shit since then. This CD is his first since hella legal problems and shit, and the title seems to sort of have a theme in mind. If Beanie goes hard on this CD, it'll definately be worth a listen.
Reccomend Downloads: Beanie Sigel: Beanie, Freestyle (off of Cocaine Raps), Scarface- Guess Who's Back
4. Lil Wayne- Tha Carter III- Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III should be one of the hottest mainstream CD's of the year, as Lil Wayne's been absolutely on fire recently. He has become a mixtape powerhouse, and while I wasn't that big of a fan of Tha Carter II, the first Tha Carter was a great album. Him, Juelz Santana, Young Jeezy, and The Game seem to have formed a little sort of clique, as the 4 of them and their respective posse's keep coming out with remixes and mixtape songs with one another. I am a big fan of all 4 of them, so they need to keep it coming.
Reccomended Downloads: Lil Wayne- The Cannon, This is the Carter, Shine
3. WC- Guilty By Affiliation: Since I am skepticall about the other 2 albums on this list being released, this album may end up being #1 for me on the year. My first post on the blog was WC's video of The Streets, and WC is coming out with his first album since 2002. One of the three members of the Westside Connection (along with Ice Cube and Mack 10) he has been coming out with hot music here and there. It's hard to find a lot of his songs because they are relatively obscure- for instance I have been looking for one song of his for years but still can't find it. This album will probably be ignored by the mainstream, but if you like Westside Gangster more old school rap, this is right up your alley.
Reccomended Downloads: WC- The Streets, Westside Connection- Bow Down
2. Raekwon- Only Built for Cuban Linx II- As Michael has recently discovered, Raekwon's Only Built for Cuban Linx is one of the best albums around, and may be the best Wu-Tang solo album. It is real dark, and very understated with beats from the RZA, and cameos from a lot of the members of the Wu-Tang Clan. After this album, all Raekwon did was pretty shitty, but he says that OB4CLII should be like the first one. It will feature the GZA on almost everysong (a huge bonus) and is being equally produced by Dr. Dre and the RZA, two of the greatest rap producers. If this CD comes even close to the first one, it will be one of the best albums of the year.
Reccomended Downloads: Raekwon- Guillotine (Swordz), Incarcerated Scarfaces, Cuban Chronicles.
1. Dr. Dre- Detox: If I had been making this list, this album would have been #1 the past three or so years. This is easily the most awaited Rap album of the future, as Dr. Dre's first two albums have both change the direction of Rap music. If this comes out, it will be the biggest Rap album of the year, as well as one of the biggest overall albums of the year. That is, IF it comes out. Right now, the word is it should be coming out in September, so if that's the case, we'll all have something to look forward to. To demonstrate the importance of this album I quote Mr. Fisher who has said "When this album comes out I am planning on buying three copies; one to listen to in the car, one to listen to on my computer, and one to keep in a case and never open". Yea, it might be that good.
Reccomend downloads: Dr. Dre- Chin Check, Fuck You, Dre Day, Still D.R.E, Deep Cover, etc.

These are just the albums that I know for sure that are coming out this year, for all I know, the Game might come out with one along with some other guys. If anybody has anyone to add I would like to see it.

Thank you Jesus!!!

And fuck Kurt Warner.

I wonder what he had to say after losing his starting job to a training camp hold-out rookie.
I also wonder what he would say if he saw this video:

The dance moves are the best part.

Sleepy Spudgy

This is a collection of videos I found on YouTube.

Lets see if you can follow the common thread.

Psycho!

I like this song: David Guetta vs The Egg: Love Don't Let Me GO

Im trying to listen to more and more and more dance\house\techno\electronica music btw...ok bye

How culturally irrelevant is this?

Is he still alive?

I think the only person that still finds this funny is Harrison (sorry dude, but it is so true)...but he may be easier to amuse than this guy.

My homestay tenant...Joseph!

I went to the blog of a person that I met during my homestay and the thing is hugE! She was pretty tight and had some pictures of the town that I was staying at, as well as some photos of the people that I lived with as well as our dogs. Here is the Croatian guy that lived with us who worked construction in those canvas shoes that I brought back. He is wearing half of a watermelon on his head.
You guys should check out her blog. It is all in Spanish, and it is pretty extensive. Maybe something to shoot for; she does about 1-2 posts a day. This is a link to her blog.

My dogs in Spain
This is sort of a self-endulgent post, but you guys should really look at her blog, it is pretty cool to try and understand what she writes, becuase I am really confused!

I got that Pandemic!

Harry showed me a photographic recipe on how to make crack on some lady's myspace (she has some relation to Girltalk).

It is fucking funny. Check out the spelling of some of the directions.

Check out those rocks!

2007=Boobs and tits...

Time to give this blog some mouth-to-mouth. Here's my predictions/resolutions for 2007:

49ers go 10-6 and win the division. They lose in the first round of the playoffs to the Eagles.

The Giants suck. My post in regards to the Zito signing was kind of knee-jerk, and I blame it on how shitty Bay Area sports are right now (49ers might leave, Giants suck, Warriors are always just good enough to get you interested then they suck again, Raiders SUCK, and the A's aren't tight and are really never that good anyways). He's really not that great of a pitcher-granted, I think he will do much better in the NL and will be valuble in fantasy-but paying $18 million a year for a guy who plays once every 5 days is ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that the 7/8 innings Barry v. 2.0 will put in will probably be nullified half the time by our fuckysucky bullpen. Even still, they compete for the division crown until the last three weeks, when they all die.

Barack Obama begins his push for the 2008 presidency. He has a lot of momentum, and by 2012 who knows what will happen to shift the political field. Plus, he has to fucking stop Hillary. Please, God.

Mel Gibson dies on the set of his new movie "Atlanticus", which is this really creepy fantastical voyage to a hidden city in the depths of the Mariana Trench. He goes hella deep in a submarine and is alone with a guy, and thus resorts to bumping uglies with the dude to satisfy sexual tension. Hidden cameras pick up all the action, and he ejects himself in to the deep sea, crushed from the deep-sea pressure.

A rich sultan in Dubai tries to build a Space Colony, but its blown up by...scientologists.

RJ starts dating a really broke Stanford girl, probably Asian, who will actually be one of the hottest girls in school, but its Stanford so she's broke anyways.

You-know-who and you-know-who break up, but you-know-who and you-know-who stay together. John's emo side becomes absolutely uncontrollable at Columbia and Bubby... gets sick of the weed in Hamilton and starts sniffing glue and dates a 6' volleyball player.

Other people should post theirs. Our site visits are way down.

Oh, and my one resolution:
Never end up like these girls.
